Have you ever found yourself entering the same text or the same formula on multiple tabs of an Excel workbook? You don’t have to go to all that trouble. You can enter text, numbers, of formulas on multiple tabs at the same time. Just click on the first tab you want to use then hold down the shift key and click on the last tab you want to use. Both tabs and all the ones in between will be selected. Using the Ctrl key instead of Shift while clicking will add or remove individual tabs from your selection.
Once you have your tabs selected anything you do will be duplicated on all of the selected tabs (worksheets). You can enter text or numbers, enter formulas, or apply formatting. You can even edit existing content. So if you copied a worksheet and then discover something that needs to be changed. Just select them all, make the change on one, and they will all be updated.
