The Customer Management Center is a terrific new feature in Peachtree 2010. It is available in Peachtree Complete and higher. Here you can get more information about a selected customer than you can in any other single place.

If you click on Customers & Sales on the left side of the main Peachtree window, you will see that there is a new tab at the top called Customer Management. By default, it shows you Sales Invoices, Receipts, Credit Memos, and Totals for the customer you selected at the top of the page. By clicking on the Customize This Page button you can add, remove, or rearrange any of the 18 possible choices. One of the most interesting items is “Top Customers: Last 12 Months”. It will show the top 10 customers by profit margin over the last twelve months. If the customer you selected is not in the top ten, they will also be listed along with their overall ranking.

Date ranges can be set separately for each section. Double clicking an item will open the original transaction. And each user can customize their own settings.

You will also be glad to know that the Customer Management Center fully observes any security restrictions for each user. So if you have given a user access to sales invoices but locked them out of receipts, that user won’t even have the option of adding receipts as one of the sections in the Customer Management Center.
