When Sage released version 2015 of Sage 50 (Peachtree), they said that they intended to start providing updates year round instead of just once a year. On July 9th 2014 we saw the first installment on that promise. If you are wondering what was in that update that popped up a couple of weeks ago, here is the list of changes:

PRODUCT CHANGES:

  • Live Chat – A link to live chat was added to error messages.
  • Installation Changes – The time it takes to check for previous installs during the installation process has been significantly reduced. When upgrading from one major release to another of the same version of the product (e.g. Pro, Premium, or Quantum), the full install will remember the list of previously opened companies.
  • Void and Replace Payroll Checks – This new feature voids an existing payroll check and creates a replacement in one step.

PRODUCT CORRECTIONSs:

Sage has reported fixing problems or limitation in the following areas, but did not give any further details:

  • Credit Memos
  • Expense Tickets
  • Invoices
  • Navigation Aids
  • Sales Orders/Quotes
  • Receipts
  • Direct Deposit
  • 1099 Forms
